Why didn't you include <insert song here>?
The bracket was limited to 64 songs. The original list of songs, including alternate versions, was in the hundreds. If you really want to see a song next year contact us and keep coming to the site. If a new bracket is done next year, maybe it will make it in.
Ugh, Why did you include <insert song here>?
Songs that a lot of people dislike were purposely included on this list. Some people obviously like them, or they wouldn't play them on the radio at all. To be honest, we don't like that song either. Do us a favor, vote against it so that it will lose, and we may be convinced to not include it next year.
How were the original battles determined?
The chosen song list was entered on to the Toorament Bracket website alphabetically by title. We then used their random matching to form match ups. If this site becomes popular, perhaps specific popular match-ups will occur in the future.
Why did you call this 'Holiday Song Showdown' instead of 'Christmas Song Showdown'?
The original bracket includes songs from Chanukah, Kwanzaa and general holiday songs that do not mention Christmas at all. This also leaves the site pretty open to adding New Years songs or doing a Halloween vote. There has also been a special 4th of July edition.
