Welcome everyone to the 2016 season of Holiday Song Showdown. Songs have been selected and the match-ups set. You can check out the Competition page to view the full bracket of match-ups or keep reading to find out what songs were selected.
Top 16 Picks are back and open until 11/22 at 8 pm when voting battles begin. Fill out your top 16 and follow along on the Competition page to win some bragging rights. You may also want to check out the Hall of Fame page to take a look at past match-ups and winning picks from previous years.
How were the songs picked this year? Along with the weird and rare that get thrown in, you have the top 16 (less the winner) from last year. You're also getting the highest scoring songs that didn't make it to top 16. And as an early gift to all of you, many of the remaining songs are special requests that people have submitted along with their picks. As before, you shouldn't see more than two songs from any one artist (unless they're duet-ing) and no more than two different versions of the same song.
