:The 4th season of Holiday Song Showdown is right around the corner. This year there are a bunch of new songs as well as different versions of some of your favorites.
Top 16 Picks are open until 11/22 at 8 pm when voting battles begin. Fill out your top 16 and follow along on the Competition page to win some bragging rights. You may also want to check out the Hall of Fame page to take a look at past match-ups and winning picks from previous years.
What song picking formula was used this year? For starters, the top 16 of 2016 (less the winner) are returning in some fashion. Any of last year's Top 16 that were on the list for 3 years have been replaced by different versions of the same song. You'll also see new versions of 16 songs that haven't been on since the first song showdown. Finally, you'll be hearing a bunch of the weird and wonderful rarities that haven't been on before.
As before, you shouldn't see more than two songs from any one artist (unless they're duet-ing) and no more than two different versions of the same song.
